Early V2 Ram's Head Big Muff dating from the early 70s.
It has the square RH logo, missing "Off" graphic, 'NVF' markings on the yellow PCB, and desirable round top NPN FS36999 silicon transistors.
For sale in good condition; it's got the usual scuffs and scratches, plus spotting with oxidation you'd expect from a 40 year-old EH pedal, but overall it presents very well for its age, especially with the oversized, protruding knobs.
The cosmetics are of course secondary to the sound - and what a sound! Very similar to a Triangle Muff, thick, smooth and monstrous - not as raucous as the later variants.
Circuit is quiet, pots scratch-free, controls effective, stomp foot switch has a positive action.
All vintage Muffs sound different, and from our experience this one's a great example and will not disappoint.
